What Is Faco?
Faco, is known as “Lazer Operation” in colloquial language, but in fact it is an operation type that is performed by ultrasonic vibration without using lazer ray.It is used for cataract and the visual loss in advaced level. At this technic, the discission into the lens of the eye is performed with a small incision(smaller than 3mm.) needs no stitches. The opaque lens is liquided ,absorbed and cleaned with ultrasonic sound and the proper artificial intra ocular lens implant inserted.
